Te Tau Hou Māori Sunset Cruise

Join Silver Wave Yacht Charters for an incredible sunset cruise this Matariki!

This is a unique experience to be wined and dined on an adults-only cruise of the inner harbour as the sun sets beyond Waitangi, before dropping anchor in an exclusive viewing position in the heart of the spectacular Matariki display.

We will welcome you onboard our luxury yacht, Serenity, at 4pm and set sail on a scenic cruise of the inner Bay of Islands whilst treated to sundowners and canapes.

Once the sun has set, we drop anchor a short distance off the coast of Paihia in time to take up the best seats in the house that will guarantee that you are immersed in the impressive Te Tau Hou Māori Puanga Matariki Celebrations.

After the show is over, we return to Paihia Wharf at approx. 7:30pm where the festive evening continues. The purchase of a Silver Wave Sunset Cruise entitles you to a discounted ticket into Zane Greys for the remainder of the music and entertainment.
