Through this planting opportunity you will learn about the history of the land and the importance of preventing further erosion of this sacred place.

Times: 9:00am – 12.00pm
Meet at Oneroa for the karakia at 9am, followed by a brief overview of why we are planting the area, some historical context of Ko Iwi found, and some of the practice of care.
We will finish the day with a shared Kai and debrief at the Marae. All are welcome.
Please bring along your gardening tools and gloves for this hands-on gardening experience.
