Matariki Wine and Lunch Adventure

Visiting :  Honey Paihia OR Mahoe Cheese Factory 

Marsden Estate – Tasting wines & ports.  The first vines planted at the Stone Store by 

Samuel Marsden & the first vintage in NZ made at Waitangi by James Busby.

Next we visit the Historic Stone Store Mission Station enjoy a visit to NZ’s oldest gardens & buildings : Kemp House & The Stone Store operating since 1836;  see a range of authentic goods of the era and NZ souvenirs. 

Colour yourself a Matariki Star which will be displayed on site.

Honey House Café – our lunch stop (extra cost) set on the banks of the Kerikeri River.  Right behind the Stone Store in the heritage gardens.

Enjoy lunch trying one of their Matariki specials :

Watercress and Peruperu Soup drizzled with Kawakawa infused oil, served with Damper or Smoked Fish Pie
From Lunch to  Ake Ake Vineyard: Tasting organic wines & locally made Limoncello by Sovrano.  Before heading back to Paihia we visit  Makana Confections  – Enjoy some chocolate samples
